Information about Reiki and Reiki Sessions
Reiki (Ray-key) is one of many complementary therapies which focus on the whole person (mind, body and spirit) and works very well in conjunction
with western medicine. These therapies enhance the body's ability to promote healing, relieve pain, reduce stress and create relaxation, thereby
improving a person's sense of overall well-being. Reiki is an intelligent energy force for healing our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual
selves. The word Reiki is Japanese and means "Universal Life Energy." Reiki is literally the life force of the universe. The Light, The Force, God,
Christ, Buddha, The Great Spirit . . whatever you feel most comfortable saying is Reiki. The practice of Reiki healing was discovered in the late
1800's or early 1900's by Dr. Usui in Japan.
During a Reiki session the practitioner brings this energy to the client using a series of light touch hand placements on (or slightly above) the
body. The client (fully clothed except for shoes) usually lies on a massage or similar table. Since the Reiki energy is intelligent, it knows where
to go and what to do, the energy does the healing not the practitioner. You could experience extreme relaxation, awareness of "Inner Wisdom,"
emotional release, and/or clarity and insight about issues in your life, during a Reiki session. Reiki works to restore balance and harmony on all
levels. Reiki can be useful in: 1) providing: relaxation, energy, change in attitude 2) decreasing: pain, anxiety 3) promoting: health, wound
healing, release of emotion.
Arline's unique style of Reiki combines her guided meditation and support group facilitating skills providing gentle support while you experience
this healing energy. Since completing the Awakening Your Light Body Course in March 1992, she has been combining Light Body energy focus with
Reiki. Arline also brings in the Divine Soul's (Our Higher Self) Light Energy in all her sessions and classes to create a safe and enhanced energy
space for the client. This aura enhancement was developed over time during many years of study and application of the Ageless Wisdom or Esoteric
teachings which focus on Divine Soul contact and spiritual growth.

arrangements have been made when making the appointment or registering for the class. Payment plans are available for some classes if
you make arrangements when you register for the class. If you have scheduled a payment after the class date, then you would provide a
postdated check when you attend the class.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Please notify me at least 48 hours in advance, if possible (or as soon as you know), if you need to cancel (for any session, class or event even for
intro classes).

SEVA is a Sanskrit word meaning service to those who are suffering. This SEVA protocol is effective in bringing balance to the body in cases of
stress or trauma. It was developed after September 11, 2001 by Process Acupressure Practitioners to help deal with stress.
The SEVA Protocol accesses 12 meridians in the body as developed in Traditional Chinese Medicine. These are: Small Intestine, Bladder, Stomach,
Lung, Liver, Pericardium, Spleen, Gall Bladder, Heart, Kidney, Triple Warmer and Large Intestine. Two extraordinary flows are also accessed: Governing
Vessel and Conception Vessel.
The SEVA - Stress Relief Protocol takes about 30 minutes and is available at the beginning of a 90 minute Reiki session or as a 45 minute session at my

Information about Reiki Classes
Reiki is quite easy to learn and use. There isn't a lot of technique to master. Students are encouraged and taught how to use the Reiki energy on themselves and others, if they choose, in their daily lives. Just imagine how having a centering and relaxation tool, that is always with you and can be easily used throughout the day, could improve the quality of your life.
Reiki attunement classes are available for the Reiki I, Reiki II or Reiki Master Practitioner levels. Included in the attunement classes are meditation, attunement, instruction and practice time, manuals and certificate of completion. Reiki classes are offered by appointment for one person or for two or more people registering together. Scheduled group classes are available, too.
The Reiki Master Teacher course is required after you complete all of the attunement classes, if you want to do Reiki attunements and teach Reiki to others. This course is offered for two or more students in three or four sessions about two weeks apart. If you are traveling a long distance the course can sometimes be scheduled for fewer sessions. There are homework assignments that students are required to turn in during the Teacher's course.
If you complete the Reiki Master Teacher Level with Arline Rowden, she will give you permission to use her class manuals for your classes. Arline will also co-teach Reiki Classes with her Reiki Master Teacher students for their students. All of Arline's students have permission to use her article, Reiki - An Intelligent Force for Healing, to share with others and to promote their own Reiki business.
Fees for Reiki Classes
Reiki Attunement Classes - Reiki I or Reiki II or Reiki Master Practitioner:
Home Office Fee: $125 each person (This is a rollback to 1990 prices as a gift to the community from Arline);
Earthsong: $135 each person;
Madison Office: $145 each person (From 12-1-09 thru 3-31-10 fee will be $125 for group classes scheduled by Arline in Madison "OR" the $125 fee would also
be available when 2 to 4 people new to that level class attend a group class requested by one of them.)
Each Reiki attunement class is 4 to 5 1/2 hours for 1 to 4 students (Individual Reiki II or Reiki Master Practitioner
classes might last less than 4 hours if the student doesn't have a lot of questions).
Reiki Master Teacher Course: $275 per person at Home Office ($300 at Madison Office) for the series of 2 to 4 classes usually 2 weeks
apart, totaling 10 to 12 hours, depending on class size. Minimum class size is usually 2 people. (When an individual class is available it's usually a
total of 7 to 8 hours in 3 or 4 classes.)

Caregiver's Discount - $25 Savings - Reiki I classes Only: If you take the Reiki I Attunement class, you can take
$25 off the regular price of the class per person, if you qualify as a caregiver. This discount can not be combined with any other discount. Reiki is a
wonderful healing energy system for anyone but especially for the caregivers of the world. You can do self Reiki very easily and when you give Reiki to
others you also receive Reiki for yourself at the same time. This discount is only available for the Reiki I class. Call or email for details.
Who's a caregiver? You might be a nurse, a social worker, a teacher, massage therapist or a parent with children at home or you might be caring for an ill spouse or parent. If a lot of your waking hours are spent taking care of the needs of others, then you are a caregiver. Just call or email and tell me why you feel you qualify for the caregiver's discount.
Special Offer to Organizations where many caregivers are employed such as hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, hospice, etc. Arline is often available to present on-site Introducing Reiki classes. Also, on-site Reiki I Attunement classes are often available for groups. Please call or email for details.
Special Reiki Attunement Class Fee for Spouses or Life Partners or Other Family Members: If you and your spouse or life partner take the same Reiki I, Reiki II and/or Reiki Master Practitioner Attunement class at the same time the first person will pay the regular class fee and the other spouse or life partner will pay $65 at home office or $75 at Madison office as their class fee per class. Also, applies to parent and dependent children who take a class together. Ask for more details. You can not combine this offer with any other offers.

is you would bring post dated check(s) to the class for any amount not paid at the class. Be sure that you have set up a realistic scheduled
when you do this.
Some partial scholarships and price reductions are available where there is a genuine need of financial assistance. In other words, if your income
doesn't cover much beyond the basic necessities of life, then you would most likely qualify for a partial scholarship or price reduction. This
would be true financial need. So if you have income beyond that needed for basic needs and you are saving up for a trip or special purchase of some
kind or things of that nature, then that doesn't qualify for partial scholarships or price reduction. So please go within and ask your heart if you
should ask for either. Then I will be able to help those who have a genuine need. Thank you.

Reiki Class Descriptions and Schedule
Reviewing Reiki Attunement Classes
- If you would like to review Reiki I, Reiki II or the Reiki Master Practitioner class, you may do that in a group
class when at least one new student is attending. If you originally took the class that you are reviewing from Arline Rowden, then the fee
would be $25 at my home office and $35 at my Madison office per class reviewed, unless other arrangements have been made prior to the class.
If you have taken the Reiki Master Teacher course from Arline Rowden, you may review her group Reiki classes no charge when there is room in
the class.
If you took the class from another teacher then the fee would be $65 at home office or $65 at Earthsong or $75 at Madison office. You will
receive a class manual, any other class materials and the Reiki attunement for that level class. If you take your next Reiki Attunement
class with Arline, within 3 months of the review class, then $25 of that fee can be applied to your next new attunement class. Please bring
a copy of your Reiki certificate to the review class, if Arline wasn't your Reiki teacher for that level class.
If you would like an individual review class, they are available at $25 per hour with a 2 hour minimum. Please call or email for more

Attending Reiki Sharing events is another way to review. It also gives you an opportunity to ask a Reiki Master Teacher questions and
to meet other people in your Reiki community.

to arrive 30 to 45 minutes before the start of the group class to meet individually with Arline. Another option would be to review one of
Arline's group Reiki II classes prior to this class (you will receive the Reiki I & II manuals in the class) or you could schedule a Reiki
or consultation session with Arline to privately review Reiki I & II. Or you could schedule an individual RMP class. Please email or call

Reiki attunements and to teach Reiki classes as a business or for loved ones. Series of 3 classes (if you are traveling a long distance

Certification as a Reiki Master Teacher is dependent on the satisfactory completion of written home work, demonstration of attunements
and knowledge of class materials expressed verbally in the classes. If you are unable to accomplish this during the course of the
regularly scheduled classes you may need to repeat the course with other students or schedule additional class time for an additional
fee before you receive your certification.
Taking the Reiki Master Teacher Course is a big commitment so please be sure that you do intend to complete this course before you start
it. Once you have attended the first class and received the class materials, no refunds will be given. But you may complete the course
with other new students in the future for no additional fee if you feel unable or you are unwilling to finish the course when you first
begin.

Reiki Student Hands-On Sharing - A time to practice and receive "hands on" Reiki,
connect with other Reiki students (with any teacher) and to ask a teacher Reiki related questions. Instruction on hand positions, etc.
will be provided as needed. You are welcome to attend one or more of the Reiki Sharing Events. Prerequisite: Reiki I with any
lineage. Facilitated by Reiki Master Teacher Arline Rowden.

NOTE: In Madison the maximum attendance for hands on Reiki Sharing is 4 students.
Home Office: Saturdays, March 27 and April 24, 2010 from 12:30 to 3 pm. Cost: $10.

Reiki Sharing - Reiki Meditation, Self-Healing, sharing of hands-on Reiki (in chairs)
